Door window blinds for extra security

Today it is becoming more and more popular to have a front door that is partially or completely made from glass. These are usually made out of security glass but in a large number of the doors available there is just regular glass used. This is not though the topic of this hub, but instead I am going to write about using door window blinds on your glass street door to provide security by blocking unwanted people from seeing what you have in your hallway.

Usually people have their key-cabinet and other similar stuff in their hallway. If you have a door that allows people to see that the risk of being burglared increases since they can definitely see where you have your keys, and they can quickly enter your home and get out with your car keys and possibly your car. This is the so called "the situation makes a thief" because it could even be people who are not coming to your door because they want to steal something from you, but as they see an easy target they go for it.

If you want to be certain about something like this not happening then you need to either get a door that does not allow people to look inside, or find door window blinds that are able to block the visibility. The best part in this is that you can open them when you are inside the house and want to see who is behind the door, and close them when you are out so that there can't be anyone looking in.

Also by using a proper choice of blinds you can control the amount of light that you let pas to your hallway and it can become a decorative element as well. Using the proper design that matches your home interior design can make a a difference in the overall feel of your house, and when there are guests that arrive they will feel like you have taken everything in to notice as you have door window blinds that match your home. This is the first impression that you can give about your house and it is definitely important.
